01 / The need
Expo apps export to the web, but putting a server build with API routes on your own Cloudflare account took hand-written glue.
02 / What we built
- One build command that reads the Expo export and picks the matching deployment: assets only, or a Worker with assets in front.
- It keeps the bindings, variables, routes, and environments from your own Wrangler config.
- Plain wrangler dev and wrangler deploy work unchanged afterwards.
03 / Under the hood
- It does not reimplement Expo's server. Server output runs on expo-server's official workerd adapter.
- Assets-only deployments run no code on a request.
