1. 01 / The need

   Government software suites cover every department in every county. A small town has one code officer, and needs one thing: the officer, the property, and the case.

2. 02 / What we built

   • Every case is a pin on a parcel, so an officer can see what is open on a block before driving it.
   • A case moves through the same five steps every time, and its status changes color on the map.
   • Designed on a phone first, then stretched to the office desktop. It installs from the browser, with no app store.
   • Built first for Carey, Idaho.

3. 03 / Under the hood

   • PostgreSQL is the only database, reached from Workers through Drizzle.
   • Separate database roles for migrations and for the running app.
